§ 02 / 09 — Why we exist

We started in 2010 with one belief: a home should hold its warmth like a held breath.

Every attic we touch, every cavity we fill, every door we hang is a small act of comfort against an Oklahoma winter.

Locally owned. Honestly priced. Quietly proud of the work we leave behind.

§ 03 / 09 — What changes after we leave

A house that holds its breath instead of leaking it.

Insulation isn't a feature — it's a feeling. Most clients describe it the same way the morning after: the rooms got quiet, the floors got warmer, the HVAC stopped working so hard.

Architectural cross-section of a home highlighting the insulated attic envelope in warm gold
  1. 01

    Lower energy bills

Tighter envelope, fewer dollars escaping through the attic.

  2. 02

    Even, quieter rooms

Less HVAC cycling, less outside noise creeping in.

  3. 03

    Warmer floors in winter

Cold air loses its short-cut between joist and slab.

  4. 04

    Cooler upstairs in summer

Radiant heat stops at the attic instead of in your bedroom.

Outcomes vary by home, age and existing R-value. We'll tell you the honest range during your estimate.

§ 04 / 09 — The promise

A quieter, more even, more efficient home — installed right the first time, by neighbors who have been doing this since 2010.

Good News Insulation has been a working part of the Stillwater area community since 2010. We are a small, locally owned outfit — the same people you call are the same people who show up at your door, climb into your attic, and make sure the job is done the way we'd want it done at our own homes.

Most of what we do is unglamorous: blown-in fiberglass over a tired ceiling, a clean spray-foam package on a new build, a garage door that finally closes the way it should, a fireplace that actually pulls. The good news is what comes after — a house that feels calmer, runs quieter, and costs a little less to live in.

We answer the phone. We show up. We stand behind the work.

Honest pricing

Free, on-site estimates. A written scope before any work begins. No surprise add-ons — the price you sign is the price you pay.

§ 09 / 09 — FAQ

The questions
homeowners actually ask.

Don't see yours? Call or text us — we'd rather answer it directly.

  • Most attics in our area sit in climate zone 3A, where R-38 to R-49 is a sensible target. Older houses that never had a real top-up often benefit from going as high as R-49 to R-60. We measure what's actually there before recommending anything.
  • It depends on the house. Blown-in fiberglass is usually the most cost-effective way to add depth in an open attic. Spray foam shines when air-sealing matters — knee walls, rim joists, vaulted ceilings, metal buildings, and tighter new builds. We'll tell you straight which one fits your situation.
  • In most under-insulated Oklahoma homes, yes — a tighter envelope means the HVAC stops fighting losses through the ceiling. We won't promise a percentage we can't honor, but we'll show you what we'd expect for your specific home during the estimate.
  • Yes. Free, on-site, no pressure. We'll measure, look at the existing condition, and give you a real number before you decide anything.
  • Yes. Garage door service and install (including insulated panels) and fireplace install/service are part of what we do. Same crew, same standards.
  • Usually within a few days for an estimate, often sooner. Call or text (405) 473-4436 — we answer.
  • We're based in Glencoe and work throughout the Stillwater area — Perry, Pawnee, Cushing, Yale, and surrounding north-central Oklahoma. If you're not sure whether we cover your address, just ask.
  • Most single-family attics are a one-day job. We protect floors, run hose lines through a window or attic hatch, and clean up before we leave. Larger homes or full spray-foam packages can run longer — we'll set expectations during the estimate.
